Caffé e Cucina is an awesome spot for a late lunch after shopping on Chapel Street. The adorable little Italian restaurant was cozy and has a great atmosphere inside and out. The service was professional and our charming Italian waiter did an excellent job during the time we were there. I liked my wild rocket, pear and shaved grana  with extra virgin olive oil and white balsamic vinegar. Simple, clean, lovely dish. I finished the whole bowl. Since then, I've been making it at home. Truly one of my favourite salad of all time.

For main course, DH ordered pipis, prawns, mussels & scallops cooed with garlic, chilli and tomato, baked in parchment paper. The parcel was unwrapped at the table. How wonderful. It was a beautiful dish. Unfortunately my chargrilled black Angus t-bone was a little let down as it was under cooked for medium rare, the meat was still red and bloody. I left most of it on the dish. It was a shame as the dish came to the table looked spectacular.  Next time, I'll go there, order my favourite rocket and pear salad and a a cup of coffee for lunch and enjoy my time in this little Italian.

Harbour Town becomes a popular place for weekend shopping, food and fun.

We had a light meal in Dockland just before the Japanese Summer Festival 2011 started.

There was this cafe called Nina's Rosticceria & Pasticceria got our attention which was nice and clean.

Both of us were not too hungry.

DH ordered a standard breakfast for $12.90 (available whole day) and I had the cesare salad cost $8.50.

Fair prices for the food but the drinks were more than average in my opinion.

We had the iced coffee and iced chocolate, both of them cost $7.00 each.

Okay, firstly the food.

I liked the breakfast very much, the scrambled egg was fresh and moist.

The button mushrooms and spinach were well seasoned and tasted pretty good.

This is something I will order again if I was in the area.

The cesare salad was average.

A mixed of lettuce, bacon, egg and crouton, anyway, nothing surprising about it.
Not much seasoning neither any sauce. A bite dry for me.
However, if you were on diet, it might be wise to eat it without sauce.

Both dishes came in large sizes. Good value.
It was a nice place to get a bite to eat and they've got tables inside and out.
